About Bette Devine

Many years ago I painted. Then I realised that I did better at photography than painting – and that has been my medium of expression ever since.

Beautiful image. You have captured this exceptionally well.
By the way this plant is now called Corymbia ficifolia. It is a bloodwood and all bloodwoods are now Corymbia.
Corymbia has been split from Eucalyptus.

  • Thanks, Bruce. I did not know that ficifolia is a bloodwood! Thanks for the info.
