17 advantages of turning 40..50 ..and to be heading towards 60, 70 and 80!!
1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
2. In a hostage situation you are likely to be one of the first to be set free.
3. Nobody expect you to run…anywhere… at all.
4. People calling you on the phone at 9 am are likely to ask: ”did I wake you?”
5. You are no longer considered a hypochondriac.
6. There’s nothing left for you to learn ”the hard way”
7. Things you buy now will last you a lifetime.
8. You can take a Granny-nap or have your Dinner at 4 pm
9. You can manage without sex but not without your glasses.
10. You no longer consider speed limits limiting.
11. You no longer pull in your tummy… no matter who walks by.
12. You hear yourself humming to piped music in the Supermarket
13. Your eye sight is not going to be much worse.
14. Your investment in Health Insurance is starting to pay off.
15. Your secrets are safe among your friends … they don’t remember them either.
16. The amount of new brain cells are now down to a manageable level.
17. You don’t remember who sent you this list.
And one thing more:
Never under any circumstance take a sleeping pill and a laxative the same night.
