“Lurblaeseren” – has a central position, as the first restaurant/bar on the pedestrian street (Strøget) of Copenhagen; it’s an obvious meeting place for the shoppers and tourists.Overlay texture: playingwithbrushes

Seeing the places where people drink alone is fun. So many little detail that tell a story about the place. I also enjoy your pictures of people coming out into the streets this time of the year.
Thank you very much Faul – I always enjoy your comments :o)

Thank you Gary – he looked so lonely and displeased.
Another beautiful street scene. Love the Pub. I say the gent was waiting for a friend to meet him and she was running late….always the optimist xx
That’s what i call positive thinking – maybe you’re right Joni Rae :o)Thank you for the lovely comment – always a pleasure xx
great display of loneliness – I love his expression of deep thought. great contrast with the scene through the door…everything has a match except him: three mcdonald’s cups, two heineken signs, 27 address, matching door and window frame. beautiful!
Thank you Michael for that wonderful comment and the much appreciated fav – I’m so pleased you like it :o)
Oh that is quite sad…………..he shouldn’t be alone. Lovely candid capture.

Wonderful candid capture Kira – I just love those old shop fronts – and the wonderful colour you present them with…just beautiful!
Thanks a lot Sharon – I’m glad you enjoy them :o)
Fabulous old pub, so much charm – he does look a tad dejected sitting there by himself – well seen Kira :)
On the other side of the door (also outside) was a cosy party of 3-4 men. It made a great contrast but I couldn’t get it in the same frame – I would have lost his expression. Thanks again for your very valued comment Trish – and the fav of course.
