oh,, it does, and have put needle in my finger many times,, vary overseeing with the grands,, its a mean machine,, no playing around with it,, thats back when women were ,,, ohhhhhhhhhh,, wont go there,, anyways,, its a great piece of history,, and I am happy too have mine,, actually, now looking at your date again, mine is 1920 singer,, sorry about that,,, but hey still the same great company that supplies machines for years….

Fantastic deep tones in this. I remember my grandmother using one of these.
Yes I vaguely remember my mother had one when I was a child. She had it from a shoemaker I think – he was paralysed from shoulder to elbow so it was built for him – the wheel and handle was on the front instead of the side.
