The Old Horse Carousel – originally named “The Emperor Carousel” dates back to the end of the 19th Century. Situated on “Dyrehavsbakken” north of Copenhagen. With its 457 years it is the worlds oldest amusement park

    The depth of field here really evokes a certain memory of a long-gone era. Interesting too, that the eyes of the respective horses convey different moods!

  • This Horse Carousel dates back to the 19th Century and it is amazingly well kept. It is still the original horses.

    Looks like another of those" must visit" places. They always felt kind of mysteries
    to me. Probably read too many horror stories. Well done!

  • I never heard of a horror story involving a carousel. Is it Stephen King again. This is for children – vintage horses – nothing scary there .o)
