Hotel Fy & Bi is a unique and special hotel and restaurant – housed in a century – old building, and a neighbourg to the world´s oldest film company, Nordic Films. Fy & Bi, who have given the hotel it´s name, were a world – famous film couple of the 20´s. They are the Danish equivalent to your Stan and Ollie. Fy is short for Fyrtaarn (lighthouse) because he was so tall. Bi is short for bivogn (sidecsr).
Photo taken in Valby – one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is in the southwestern corner of Copenhagen Municipality, and has a mixture of different types of housing. This includes apartment blocks, terraced housing, areas with single-family houses and allotments, plus the remaining part of the old Valby village, around which the district has formed, intermingled with past and present industrial sites.
