I love this music and I love this song …so I named this picture after it

I was never much of a dancer
I never found the way to move
With legs like strangers
And these arms that never had a clue

No, I was never much of a dancer
I keep the music in my head
I keep my head on my shoulders
And shake what I’ve got inside instead
My mind is my dance floor
My feet never get sore

But now you wanna teach me to dance
And try and get me on the floor
You want me to start using my hands
Wanna show me that there’s more to music
More to music…

I was never much of a dancer
I keep the rhythm to myself
My groove is my heartbeat
Take tempo from no no no one else
My mind is my dance floor
My feet they never get sore

But now you wanna teach me to dance
And try and get me on the floor
You want me to start using my hands
Wanna show me that there’s more to music
More to music…

    A perfect fit. Beautiful work.

  • Thank you so much Bunny – I was listening to that tune desperately wishing to be a painter,
to be able to get the image in my head out on a medium arghhh – then I saw this …☺

I understand the frustration. I truly do. My mother was a wonderful painter until her stroke. She gave it up afterwards in exasperation. Her POV became very skewed so everything was at an angle and looked like alien worlds or people. :o)

  • Oh, I’m sorry to hear it Bunny. Mine got practically blind and didn’t want to let on, but she lost the zest ffor life and died of a stroke. I still miss her every day.
As for me – I can be caught dancing all by myself. We gotta enjoy life while we can ☺

I’d never heard that song before Kira, but I love it and I also love what you have created in this lovely image. xx

  • Thank you so much Brian for stopping by with your great support.
I don’t suppose you get to hear much Danish pop-music in England.
Glad you like the image ☺xx
