“There was a time I would never do something like this…”

The pilot handed me a helmet and ignored my rambling.

“…I mean, I’m acrophobic…”

He further disregarded me.

“…and, I’m prone to labyrinthitis, motion sickness…”

“Then why are you here?” He stopped and faced me, his five o’clock shadow looking like half passed six.

“…I guess I like doing things no one would ever expect me to do.”

He nodded and hopped into the cockpit.

“Why do they call you Flash?” I motioned to the nickname on his helmet. He smiled.

“Because, when I’m up there, it’s all atmosphere and legend. You’ll see, mister ride-a-long; I’m fast and to the point, and, when everything is said and done, it’s like you never saw me coming.”

“You’re like one of my stories,” I replied.

“You sure I’m I the only one?” He said, winking at me from under silver sunglasses.

Okay, I am not sure why the bubble is saying the word count is 168. Even without the copyright info at the bottom, it still leaves it at 158 words. But, Microsoft Word is counting it at 150 exactly, so that is what I am going with. ;o)

Great way to work the theme! And always go by Word when it comes to counting as the one here bites.
