The lovely Old Theater District in Downtown L.A. gets an illustrated makeover. The original photograph was okay but needed a lil’ sumthin’-sumthin’, so I illustrated it. I played with this one for a long time and many layers later…wah-lah!

There is a lovely part of Downtown Los Angeles that has all the old-time theaters in it. Most are run down or closed (or turned into churches), but it is fun to walk down it and get a taste of history. :)
