High-sided wall above the dam used to be a favorite place for diving, just outside Ithaca, NY (US). Of course, one did have to jump out far enough to miss the water-control mechanisms. In the Finger Lakes region. The drop on the other side of the dam was even higher. The reservoir was well-known for its skinny dipping, local college students and townspeople both.

    Wow. That’s some rock formation!

  • The last ice age really did a number on the countryside. Imagine though people diving from the top of those rocks! This image goes back a really long time.
