I am now primarily a digital photographer but with occasional lapses into film. I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating a different piece of art. I am most fascinated by the beauty in everyday scenes and objects.
These truly are beautiful birds. A fave, Barry.
Really strange. Despite all sorts of bird seed and nuts, there seem to be only a few birds that come around – cardinals, bluejays, robins, one or two types of smallish brown/black birds. And of course pigeons. But none of the more exotic types. Thankful for what we have.
Glad you enjoy the cardinal. Wish we could send you some so you could see them first hand.

We were in Arizona on holiday last month and saw these birds for the first time. They have wonderful colours, stunning. A lovely shot.
Thanks, Sue. They really are so beautiful and in winter with the snow their color is so welcome. Glad you had a chance to see them in person.
