This very determined blue-jay seemed to be quite happy to wait there on the branch in the snow. On the porch, a few feet down below was a good amount of bird seed. I waited (patiently) for a very long time, but he would not budge so long as I was in sight. Actually, I was behind a sliding glass door. I really didn’t think he could see me and I was being very still. Yet, as soon as I packed up the camera and left, he came down for his food.

I am now primarily a digital photographer but with occasional lapses into film. I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating a different piece of art. I am most fascinated by the beauty in everyday scenes and objects.
