Sarah resting on her favorite blue blanket. She had been in an accident and had been “rescued” by a “shelter”. Being homeless, the vet wanted to amputate the damaged hind leg. We grabbed her and took her to our own vet who fixed her leg, literally for a few dollars more. Said she might develop arthritis when she got old.
She was a biggish dog – lab mix – and sure enough after about 12 years she did, but it was never severe. Old age finally caught up with her.

I am now primarily a digital photographer but with occasional lapses into film. I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating a different piece of art. I am most fascinated by the beauty in everyday scenes and objects.
