Looking towards the historic Slater Mill and its dam. The arches of the Main St bridge and the Falls. The flow of water in the river is relatively low at the time this was taken. Usually one can not see the rocks at all.
At the other extreme, there have been times when these falls barely produced a trickle.
Imagine the plight of the workers in the Mill having to cope with these conditions.

I am now primarily a digital photographer but with occasional lapses into film. I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating a different piece of art. I am most fascinated by the beauty in everyday scenes and objects.

Barry could you add more info for the viewers?

Just did. Thanks for pointing out that there was no text. My fingers thought I was done before my brain was…. Certainyl not a senior moment!
Great shot, Barry! I don’t get around that area, but this might be worth a trip.
Thanks, Nancy. Definitely recommend it as a place to visit. Very different depending on the water level. Not only the river but also Slater Mill.
