Our black & white cat (Zelda) decided to go off on her own. She refused to come in but she never went far. After several days we set a (humane) trap. The next morning – before dawn – I saw the trap had a guest, and he/she was black and white, so I took the trap in and opened the door.

Just as I did that a dirty and disheveled B&W blur sailed past. The color was right but that’s all. Six months later, this cat emerged from his self-imposed exile.and decided to be friends. He has actually become very talkative.

The name Trapper just seemed so natural

I am now primarily a digital photographer but with occasional lapses into film. I do minimal image processing except in those cases where I am creating a different piece of art. I am most fascinated by the beauty in everyday scenes and objects.
