oh liz, thanks so much for your lovely comment, and thanks also for making this a favorite!! big hugs, my african friend!!
Excellent, there are so many aspects to this, so much to see, the B&W works so well here – this makes me question why I don’t seem to ever see the benefit of an image in B&W, Outstanding sis.
Well, my original reason for making this black and white was that it looked like an old picture to me… and i posted it a long time ago. but it was when i first joined RB, and not many saw it. Then i gor an announcement that Where on Earth was having a black and white challenge, and decided this would be perfect for it. I’ve learned a little about adjusting photos that I didn’t know back then, so i just spruced it up a little… and you see what it looks like now. thanks so much for your lovely response, bro… and i am so stoked by your comments!!
Gorgeous image, very well done!
Thanks so much Bill… I really appreciate it!! I’m really glad you liked it… Hugs!
Oh this has awesome textures and tones in B&W!
Thanks so much Kim! I really appreciate your lovely response to this photo… It’s so wonderful to get comments like yours! Thank you!
Good photo. It looks as though the horizontal struts of the fence have been wedged in – is that right, or do they have screws securing them?
i think they are just wedged in… no screws or nails. The amazing thing is that there is miles of this fence along the Riverwalk that is maintained by the city. It all looks hand cut too!! Thanks so much for your comment!!! hugs!
Thanks for making this a favorite!!!
Thanks for your reply. The fence looks really neat.
Thanks so much, Istvan!! I really appreciate your visit to my albums and thank you for your lovely response!! ~Barb
