This is great how you have it framed on the high part of the land with a long view of the country side behind it. Well done

I agree with both vigor and barnsis – the framing and the background (especially the contrast between the haziness of the background and the clarity of the foreground) make this an extremely compelling photo

  • Thanks Blake, believe it or not, this was taken within about 5 miles of my house… but the scenery changes with every turn… i wish we had this view out our backdoor!! thanks so much for your lovely response to my photo, my dear friend!! i’m so glad you like this one!! Barb

Quite a ‘find’, Barb! Noting the stone slabs under the larger wheels, I have a feeling the owner has put this on display, and is fully aware of the visual ‘setting’. Maybe he has/had hopes of selling it to a restorer? Good one! :-) Pete

  • no, i don’t think they would sell it, unless the price was way up! this tractor is very old, and has been sitting here for years… i have taken pictures of it before, but the lighting was never right… i got lucky this time!! wish i could get closer.. but there is this barbed wire fence that prevents me from getting closer! thanks so much, my friend, for your lovely comment!! Barb

Great find Barb! Love all the rust and textures and the way it is sitting on top of the hill in such a cocky manner like it is king of the hill!

  • thanks my dear friend!! Fordson is king of the hill!! lol… well, you can’t expect something that has been around since 1920 to sit up nice and straight… hahaha!! thanks my dear friend for your lovely response to this picture… you are such a wonderful friend!! Barb
