but still have about six months of recovery, getting fit, and getting healthy. This has been a big wake-up call for me! I have learned you get what you give, your future is created (somewhat) by your past, and it really hurts to have open heart surgery. I’ve also learned that I am blessed with the best family and friends, the best doctors & nurses, and I met so many interesting people. I fell in love with an old Jewish grandmother roommate. And a few words of encouragement can change someone’s life. Everything and nothing is expendable. The people in your life are watching how you live yours.

I have the best and most wonderful & supportive husband in the whole world… #1 in MY book!
