Hello, peeps!
My name is “Mr. Joey (♥)alentine”. I am 20 years old, i’m an aspiring artist, musician, and fashion designer. At the moment, but mainly during my spare time…there’s work and college too, i’m trying to start my own clothing line entitled “Bazooka ‘89”. Originally, i really just wanted to make shirts that i wanted to wear until some friends told me that they wanted shirts too. So now, the main idea i try to keep in mind for most of my designs is to capture the spirit of my generation, Generation Y, but still inject some of my personality in them.
I also have a deviantART account but i plan on using my RedBubble account for mainly business, i might share some other pieces on here but if you’d like to view my recreational pieces then that’s the place to go.
You might expect to see some references to t.v. shows, certain qoutes, references to old and new trends, fads, whatever was “in” before and after the turn of the millenium, and also whatever other doodles and things that my witty imagination can cook up.
I’d like to create clothes (mainly shirts) that attempt to reflect the true flare and snazzy attitude of everyone born around the late 80’s and early 90’s, hence the name i chose to bestow upon my brand.
Bazooka: I feel that it symbolizes the “young & crazy guns” personality that i, myself, and all of my friends and peers possess. Essentially, I think it can stand for that desire to walk on the wild side of life…and perhaps, make it a lifestyle as well but in a positive frame of mind. Besides, I also think that everyone has a little “Bazooka” in them.
‘89: Well, hahaha, that’s just the year i was born!
I’m currently working on more designs and will hopefully begin shipping other ones that i won’t be able to post on RedBubble soon.
