Artist's Description

A neo-classical design with an octagonal Renaissance dome, designed by colonial architect James Barnet, considered to be one of Australia’s finest examples of Victorian public architecture. Completed in 1880, the entire structure (of which this is the centre part only) is 81 metres long, 45 metres wide. Nikon D7k, f22, 90sec, ISO 100, 18mm.
