Farm flood, Murrumbidgee by bazcelt

Farm flood, Murrumbidgee by

Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia. 6/12/10, this the road to North Wagga cut off by the floods. Nikon D7000, 18mm. Topaz Effect. 9 shot pano.

An amateur, but a long love of photography. A recent move to digital has seen the love ‘blossom’, and a greater enjoyment in the field. I will try most forms of photography, and gain both knowledge and fun out of the experimentation. Using a Nikon D300 and D7000, with a range of lenses, and filters. I hope you enjoy the views as much as I’ve enjoyed taking them.

Great shot baz. How’s the water level going now? On the local news recently they said that we haven’t seen the last of the rain/floods.

  • Thanks Gail. Still a bit left in some paddocks, the damage is severe though as they were under water for so long. The river is still high, but at least inside the banks. Yes, there seems to be a lot of concern about that.

great pano Baz, sadly I think we are in for more rain, I’ve never seen so many damaged farm fences around the place

  • thanks mate. Yes, I drove around Northe Wagga yesterday – through where this lake was – and the damage to fences and land is immense. And, yep the forecast isn’t good either.

Looks more a shot of a lake than a river….Another fantastic shot mate, you have created a great log the floods…

  • It sure did! And this is quite some distance from the actual river! Thanks mate.
