Birdie Beach, Central Coast, NSW, Australia. Also known as Red Ochre beach – which explains the very large red rock we saw along the lagoon area and all commented that it looked totally out of place surrounded by green vegetation. The site also of a large shipwreck. A gathering with Wazza, Sharon K, and John Morton. Nikon D800E, f11, 3sec, ISO100, 27mm.

Many thanks for being Featured in: Sea 20/3/13

An amateur, but a long love of photography. A recent move to digital has seen the love ‘blossom’, and a greater enjoyment in the field. I will try most forms of photography, and gain both knowledge and fun out of the experimentation. Using a Nikon D300 and D7000, with a range of lenses, and filters. I hope you enjoy the views as much as I’ve enjoyed taking them.

Love that green water under the lowering grey sky. A lovely seascape, reminiscent of an oil painting.

  • Thanks heaps Bette, appreciated. Yes, some of these came out a bit better than the wreck ones.
