Photographed at my home, it seems the male St Andrew’s Cross Spider was out of luck (or not, depending on one’s perspective) as he is still alive and well, but now waiting patiently on the outer limits of his lady friend’s web …

  • Thanks so much Tony! These spiders are not easily spooked and fairly docile, so usually easy to get close to as long as the web is not jerked.
