Capturing my oldest boy playing chess against my dad, his grandad during the week. This is also a follow on from ‘chess master’. Do you think he is stressed or just thinking.. Maybe a bit of both.

The emotion that your son conveys is so strong! I like that
by seeing just the top of your Dad’s head, I get a sense of standing
right over him and looking down at the board. I was playing chess just
earlier tonight. :) The subtle vignette (and slight hint of soft focus) works
well here too. It’s a great photo all around. Timeless..

  • Thank you Birgitta, yes, his emotions were very strong at that point but he still loves to play against his grandad.

amazing capture.. the experienced vs the eager beginner..

  • Thank you Zaldy! Yes, my dad has been playing for nearly 80 years and my son only 2! But he’s eager to learn.
