Approach..

Here is the approaching storm and my hubby, my 3 babies and me (behind the camera) trying to get away from it! This is a photo that was taken nearly 2 years ago (old point-and-shoot camera), I though I lost it (or deleted it) but found it out of last night and had to share!

oh Basia, the light is so eery….I have seen it here in approaching storms, but you have captured it so well. Added to it, the human element and it appears positively apocalyptic! such mood and drama….the black and white works a real treat!

You can never be overprotective when it comes to your children. They are a blessing and need to be cherished and loved, as yours obviously are. I LOVE seeing families hold hands. It shows their bond and closeness.

I’m glad you didn’t loss this image. Even w/o knowing it is your family, the setting, and the comp makes this image very universal, and cause the viewer to respond to it immediately. I love the evocative and emotive qualities of this photo and the tonal range, exposure and details are fantastic. Very dramatic and appealing image.
