Escape...

Here is the image following ‘Red Ribbon’. My little girl worked out how to open the heavy back gate and thought she could escape into the big park at the back of our new house. I decided to add this image to satisfy the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what she saw through the hole in the gate!

Thanks David, I actually struggled with that thought but decided against it as my reasoning was that once the dreary gate opened, it revealed new life on the other side which she was stepping into and therefore needed to be more animated.

This looks good on my monitor. But after seeing it in print, I fell in love with it. I want to come play with your girl!!
Your photography is stunning and so pleasurable to look at.

Thank you so much Crowmanic! Well, personally I didn’t think that much of it until the feedback started to roll in!

I really like this, it has a sort of ‘Dorothy views Jurassic Park’ type of atmosphere about it and conveys the excitement of the ‘big wide world’ in a child’s eyes. Choice of lens and composition are ideal.
