I took this photo last week while on a mini winery crawl on the Mornington Peninsula with my good friend Patricia Gibson . This was taken at the Montalto’s winery / restaurant.. I just like it for it’s warmth and simplicity.

so were you actually crawling by the end of the day? i love the rim light. the yin/yang of the leaf edges is superb. excellent back light control. beautiful image indeed! now, can you hold a wine glass in one hand and camera in the other?

Thanks J.K. York! Nah! I wasn’t crawling,, just rolling out after eating way toooo much! Oh and FYI,, I can definitely hold a glass of wine in one hand and a camera in the other! It’s quite the habit of mine ;o)

Stunning, and I mean it!!! The contrast is awesome against the green background. Light is perfect and your composition so is your choice in meals!!! We should go there again just for the desert!!
