My sunset

This is what I love to do most evenings in summer,,, I just paddle out, float around and watch the sunset. I find sunsets very beautiful so I thought I would share my point of view!
Ohh, and yes,, I took the camera out on the board with me! Not too deep but did nearly get done by a wave.. pretty stupid, I know but I just really wanted to share this! .. The perils of photography!

This is AWESOME!!! I got scared just taking my camera to the beach last weekend, wading a bit, and worrying that hunks would throw sand at me (maybe not) – but to go paddling – that is something!! And so worth it, this is a totally wonderful shot:)

He-he! No.. It was NOT safe! For the camera at least! I was having my internal panic but you know the lengths we can go to to get that shot!.. Hmm.. maybe I should stick to safe portraits or macro!

Wow, brave indeed! I get worried just when I plonk my camera and tripod down into the water line… let alone taking it out on a board!
I can see why you did it though… a great moment captured and one to treasure. Such a fantastic sunset. Love the colours reflecting on the water.

Thanks Paul! Taking my camera out was giving me and internal anxiety attack but now that it’s done,, I’m happy and I’ll try not to do that again!! Any time soon anyway! ;o)

A lot braver than I am. I got a small dinky waterproof Olympus SW P&S for this.
But such an awesome shot the clouds are awesome – the board makes me feel I’m there (almost to the point of feeling my feet wet).
