What a great idea and what a great result.
Have you tried flipping the image horizontally so Mr Snail is coming from left to right? (Just a thought).
The good focus and exposure have rendered wonderful clear, sharp detail on the snail’s body. Very hard to do with such a fast moving creature. 8-)
Nicely controlled contrast and highlights and a very good tonal range.

Fantastic Basia! Although snails are not too popular at my place at the moment…they have been helping themselves to my herbs and lettuces in the garden! But I can’t bring myself to use snail bait in case the cat eats it! Argh!
