I would have to agree with you, the simplicity is what makes this absolutely outstanding. Great lighting Basia, the pose and the expression is wonderful as is the choice to do this in black and white.

Fantastic. How did u make the backround overexposed like that? Shooting with black b/g is easy but it is a bit harder with white. Any tips?

Thank you Fir! Actually this one really easy as my girl was sitting near the white wall in our house watching tv when I took it! It was also taken in natural light so there are no shadow so all I did was convert it to b&w and lightened it up. So hardly any processing :o)
