This is my first attempt at HDR post processing, after purchasing photomatix yesterday. It’s a nice start, but is not really real HDR, as it was taken from one image that I exposed 3 times in Lightroom.

Still, I think i’m going to enjoy the variety available in photomatix.

Torquay Point at dawn, taken with a Canon 7D, Tokina 11-16 at 11mm, and about a 10 second exposure.

Some of my other seascapes, and what they look like framed.

stunning shot, well captured, and good proccessing, just keep it low key with HDR like you have and you can’t go to far wrong.

Thanks Paul. Yep, I agree and certainly prefer HDR that are enhanced in their depth but kept photo-realistic. Cheers.

I love this one. The pool is incredible, and the HDR perfect. I prefer the single image processing these days myself.

  • Thanks for the feature! I am honoured to be featured in a group with so many incredible images.
