Title: Yippie Ki-yay Triceratops
I drew this one as a tribute to a classic dinosaur, Triceratops – who was recently declared to be a mistake. Modern Paleontologists say that what we once thought was a unique species were actually young Torosaurs, a similar breed of Ceratopsian.
Its an honest mistake I suppose. It reminds me of the danger in leaning on science. Science is a mastery of observations, which means that dynamic subject matter creates dynamic scientific interpretations.
Here of late I have been trying to keep the work light-hearted simply because my young son keeps the atmosphere so bright. Out at the markets and shows I get a really great response from kids, always rewarding to see their excitement.
