Love this because of your imagination. I had a Clyd/thoro cross as a kid. Gedda was 17hh,
so big I had to climb on fence to get on..bareback of course, and you didn’t dare fall off because it was such a long walk home..no high wooden fences in the country;)
I miss and envy your closeness with Curly. The Clyd/Thoro is a wonderful cross, so gentle, strong and so very smart.

Oh and Shanina I am a long time supporter of the Clydie Cross…...did you know that an association exists that is an advocate for the type called the Clydesdale Cross Sport Horse Association.

No I didn’t know Adrian…sadly she died, although a day doesn’t go by without a memory of my years with Gedda.

.............oh Shanina, I know how you feel…...............I lost my yearling filly last year, broke my heart for months, I still look inthe paddock for her…...........................with horses there is never pleasure without pain. True for life…..........

Love the Dreamlike quality of this piece and can relate to that feeling of floating on a cloud when riding a horse you love. Riding my pony ladybird when I was young was like floating free. This a beautiful work of art. Happy New Year Adrian.

Beautiful piece of work, beautiful horse. Actually didn’t know of such a cross as clyde/thoro. How wonderful. I had horses in Sydney more than 20 years ago now, but they have and always will be a great love of mine. My husband and I threaten to go bush, and have horses. Our fave are the American paint horses. Such majestic creatures. L

there is something very special about the TB/Clydie crosses. I’ve worked with clydesdales and they are such a special horse so full of love and hard work, eager to please and such power and grace, cross that with the intelligence, stamina and beauty of the TB and what a combination and you my friend are the rare soul who totally and utterly understands that special something that is in these crosses. Indeed he must be a great friend as I am sure you are his…wow, just so touched by this image and your words, it is so rare to meet such special people who truly have such a love for the magickal horse
