RECENTLY PUBLISHED BOOKS

The ideas and concepts that I explore are influenced by photographers like Brassai, Bailey and Brandt. Artists that have had a profound impact on my work over many years are Fredrick McCubbin, Norman Lindsay and Fred Williams. Themes are often developed after meeting individual models but usually the ideas are built up over extended periods and then the model is selected for the project.
Currently I have several projects in various stages of development. The primary focus is a series influenced by Norman Lindsay which I am hoping will be used in a book. The “Bodyscapes” is never far from my thoughts and using horses and models is always a real thrill. When people see my work, I’d like them to see the story first and the mechanics of the image second.

I know what I have, yet not always where it’s at……….

“If it is chaste, it is not art”. quote Pablo Picasso

“A life without art and artistic expression is an un-elegant life indeed. Words alone will never express the un-expressable as well as the stroke of a brush or a melody.” – Ottmar Liebert

Thanks for having a look at my work……………………..
