1939 MG VA 1.3 litre, made between 1937 and 1939… very rare! My brother had one in the late fiftys early sixties … mostly they were all black. He bought her for £25 .. at a time when a good wage was £20 a week . I loved her .. he didn’t .. she wasn’t trendy and a gas guzzler .. even when petrol was about 1/9d a gallon! The floor rotted .. it would have, being wood. She went for scrap, poor oul girl.. I’ve never gotten over it … think I need some kind of therapy!
