If you read a bit of history, people have always — ALWAYS — been saying the same things about immigrants. Ninety years ago, Americans were worried that my great-grandparents were going to ruin American with their foreign, Jewish ways; today my contemporaries are saying the same thing about Mexicans.
Immigrants have always been great for America, and they always will be. But will we ever learn that?
