Tut53SMO#27: Arcturian Au Pair (G1113) by

Created primarily in Apophysis 7×15b as an abstract fractal using the provided gradient based on the Smo Super Gnarl Tutorial by Epogh on DA from Forum #53 in Apophysis Tutorial Fun group. Additional enhancements in GIMP v2.8. Best if viewed larger.

Pictured here standing in front of her father (who is helping her don her protective interstellar travel suit, or “putting on the PITS” as the young people disparagingly call it) Brigittini, a young girl from Arcturus IV, is about to embark for a two-year stint as an au pair for a family on Aldebaran A VI. Despite the rigors of the 50 light-year journey, she is excited to experience a new culture, and most happy to be accompanied by her schoolmate and best friend, Elenianna, who will look after the children of a neighboring family. After all, when Elenianna first told Brigittini that she would be going away for two years completely out of texting range, Brigittini was sure she would absolutely die. What a relief when her family let her know that she could go, too.

    very cool… wars comes to mind….. :)

  • Thanks, Pam!! I was originally envisioning some type of Star Wars galactic slave trading scenario, but decided that was too close to home for some really horrible things that are happening now on Earth, and the au pair story is a lot more heart-warming and positive for the future. Thanks for your fave and comments!! :o)))
