A prominent local pediatrician caught my attention several years ago by writing that everybody’s brain is wired differently, so we shouldn’t expect every child to act the same way or learn in the same manner. Here is a depiction of this concept, and the futuristic possibility that some day our descendants may be “rewired” to enhance learning or ameliorate the effects of developmental disabilities or drug neuro-toxicities.

Best if viewed larger. Changes to the normal Xaos settings helped remove some of the extraneous Apo features. Sparks and gradient flares were added in GIMP, with glass hemisphere magnification and final render in Ultra Fractal.
