Based on the tutorial by ~Drummerboy08 called Spherical Gems Tut currently running in Apophysis Tutorial Fun group.

Created in Apophysis 7×15 with an added final transform with xheart plugin. Spiral gradient background added in GIMP v2.6, with scale-up and final render in Ultra Fractal.

    all i seem to find to make the heart are tutorials with 2.2.. not apophysis 7

  • I know what you mean, although MOST things will work in both versions. Even in this tutorial (Spherical Gems) Casey said he had problems with Apo 7×12 and therefore recommended to do it in 2.08 or higher, but I had no problems with it in 7×15. If you just follow this tutorial and then add a final transform (Fx) of linear3D=0, xheart = 1, you should be able to get something like this image; I did almost no other tweaking. Best, David :o)))
