This one reminds me of the oscilloscope sine waves at the beginning of the 1961 TV series, The Outer Limits.

From ATF tut 10 with added Fx of cylinder, bipolar and tancos, then sharpened with added supernova and lens flare in GIMP and rendered in Ultra Fractal 5.04 with Lake transform. Best if viewed larger.

The series title was somewhat inspired by the movie theme (see youtube below) which was in turn a spoof of the Big Band era song Pennsylvania 6-5000.

  • Hard to imagine that an oscilloscope seemed like such an advanced technology in those days…we’ve come such a long way since then, though I’m still waiting to fly to work in my car… :o)))
