This image is based on two types of Apo abstract fractals: the first was created in Apophysis 7x v14 following this tutorial in the Apophysis Tutorial Fun group. Rendered as a .png file, then blended with duplicate layers and a white background, color adjusted, and lines sharpened in GIMP v2.6, then saved in .jpg format, and finally scaled up in UltraFractal (UF). Initial starting point was from the instructions in the tutorial called Comprehensive Gnarls by dA’s Drummerboy08.
The second type was also created in Apophysis 7x v14 as an elliptic splits tweaked (Julian2 power3 and curl in the added final transform with a different gradient) from flame parameters shared kindly by Bunny Clarke, this image was mirrored in GIMP v2.6, scaled up in UF 5.04 Creative Edition, and inspired by this tutorial in the Apophysis Tutorial Fun group. This background elliptic splits image has already been posted as:
Elliptic Splits Dark Star (UF0254)

The two images were combined with layering and transformation in UF. Best if viewed larger.

Gorgeous work of art! Love the colors and the design.
Thanks for the fave and comment, Bunny, and the great script for the es part. The use of black in the version you sent me gave me some ideas about color schemes I had not yet tried in Apo.
