Created in Apophysis 7x v14 following this tutorial in the Apophysis Tutorial Fun group. Rendered as a .png file, then blended with a duplicate layer and a black background in GIMP v2.6 and saved in .jpg format, finally scaled up in UF. Second in a series of images generated with the instructions in this tutorial called JuliaN Set Outline, with plug-ins bipolar and Curl3D used in the final transform. Imagining spinal nerve signals as electric light bulbs, with silver “vertebral discs” of various sizes strewn about. Best if viewed larger.

    Nice one!! . . .

  • Thanks, Hugh!! Funny how many “my spine isn’t that straight anymore” comments this has already evoked from all the RB’ers in our age bracket.

this is amazing, I love it, not only the spine but the scapular as well. nice one Dr David lol, wish my backbone was a strong as this, but alas I have worn it out being a dance teacher for more years than I care to remember. great work :-)

  • Thanks for the fave and great comment, Jacqui! Mine is worn out, too, but I did a lot more singing than dancing, so I lack your good excuse :o) At least I can make them straight in Apo now!

  • Thanks so much for the fave, Thea! I’ve learned a great deal with this group, both reading answers from others and trying to provide good answers for the really new folks. Best, David
