An abstract fractal based on an Apophysis tutorial by SaTaNiA and Fiery Fire but created in Fractal Science Kit as an IFS/Orbital flame with complex inversion transforms Ztrans1, Airfoil2, Ztrans4, and Ztrans5, plus Rosette Symmetry applied (after the Splits, Elliptic, and Linear transforms described in the tutorial). Scaled up in UF. Best if viewed larger.

  • As long as you don’t tell anybody, the real way I made this was after accidentally stepping on something squishy on the kitchen floor the other night, I turned on the light to discover it was a slice of lime with red salsa, so I just took a photo of the mess, and named it “Sub-lime” – get it? lmao, David
