Created in Fractal Science Kit v1.16 based on the fractal equation Carlson Newton 2, this Julia image combines Airfoil2 and AGudermannian transforms, both with complex inversion! And for those who may be too young, or weren’t cool enough, this….is…..Spinal Tap!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic colors in this gorgeous work!

  • Thanks, Thea! The intensity of the colors was generated by a blending function called Hard Light on FSK, but I still tweaked around quite a bit with contrast and gamma controls to get the silver parts just the way I wanted…

We would love to have your work in the Spinal Tap challenge :)

  • My Pleasure, Charity! Glad to join your neat new group as well. One of my sons was diagnosed with ADD, and I probably have it as well, so I will follow your work with great interest, as I am also a medical researcher. Best regards, David

Mm your job sounds wonderfully interesting.
Two of our children have ADHD as well, I’m grateful for them and for your son that they found out in childhood and not in adulthood like me lol. Thank you for joining our group!
