  • Thank you so much, Bunny, for your fave and insightful comments. It was a most interesting surprise that only the “Hue” layer blend gave these unique textured effects, when the individual layers were smooth, and all other blend methods also yielded smooth textures. I think the layers were unequally transformed by polar coordinate filters, and I have seen similar diffraction patterns in “real life” using polarized filters (take two pair of sunglasses, and rotate one relative to the other) :o)))
