From my original watercolour painting.

This painting was inspired by the fable ’ The Tortoise and the Hare’. I don’t know where they’re bound or what adventures are in store for them but I feel that there’s a story here. I like the idea of the canny hare (the way he is sharing his cleverness with the viewer while the tortoise just plods ahead) and hope that it would help give this picture a whimsical, light-hearted feel.
