Lonely little Wren by barnsis

There are a lot of birds that come to our feeders at our home here in Southeast Missouri every winter day. However I have only seen one little Wren, it comes quite often and hangs around on the deck furniture and hops around on the deck picking up the spilled seeds the other birds scatter but it never ventures to the feeders. I suppose being smaller than the other wild birds it cant compete and they are often quite aggressive.

Such pretty details on this little wren!!! Do you know what kind of wren it is?!
It does not look like the House Wrens who go south for the winter.
Is it a Carolina Wren?! Just curious . . .

  • Thank you Lori, some one told me it is a Winter Wren but I am not sure
