Why you never find the antlers deer shed in the forest. by

I have never done photography work of wild animals that have been stuffed and mounted. Today I went to a rural feed store in Fredericktown Missouri and found this Coyote mounted on their wall. It was an excellent animal mount so I took the image of the Coyote, removed it from the white wall and moved it to a more natural setting using Photoshop.

Nikon D40X with Nikkor 300mm VR lens, editing done in photoshop.

Excellent work Byron… although I do feel sorry for the stuffed Coyote… lol

  • Thank you, I have never taken an image of a mounted animal before but this one was so unique with the antler in its mouth.

If you weren’t so honest you could have fooled us all by saying you found this in the wilds. Nice bit of Photoshopping Byron!

  • Thank you very much.
