I have attempted all winter to get an image of a male and female Cardinal together in one image here at our home in Southeast Missouri USA. I even used two images to create an image to show the beauty of these birds. Today I finally succeed. This is the real thing, no photoshop. This image is as is, the only edits is RAW processing in Photoshop.

Congratulations indeed. A fine pair they are. Here in New England I see 20 males for every female.
Thank you Barry, we seem to have a fairly balanced population here but we live in the edge of a large forest area.

Exquisite my friend! I have two pair in the woods behind me and so far about 100 feet is as close as I have gotten even on my feeders. ~Sam
Thank you Sam, these were about 20 feet away from me.

Awesome shot. I would love to get a photo of the cardinals that frequent our yard, here in Ohio, but, they are very elusive.
Thank you, These come to two feeders I have on my deck so they have gotten some what used to me but they are still very shy.
