We were waiting in the boarding area in the Phoenix Arizona Airport to board our flight to St. Louis Missouri when this little one lit on the seat beside me. Of course I had my camera bag with me, I never check my cameras, so I grabbed one and when the flash went on the sparrow decided he didn’t want to go to St. Louis with me after all.
Haha what a cute and funny story Bro! Friendly little thing! Just goes to show you that you should have a camera on hand at all times! You just never know what photo ops will present themselves! Awesome image!

A beautiful capture. I went to Queensland (Australia) from Melbourne a few years ago and, while sitting in the departure lounge waiting to board my return flight, I saw a couple of small birds flying around the ceiling, too. Unfortunately, the light was too dark up there to get any shots of them!
Thank you, this building had very high ceilings also but this little one was flying around very close to the people in the lounge.

Yes it is perched on the seat next to me in the waiting area for boarding of planes??? An attendant said it had been there for several days.
